The Beautifully Flawed Foundation
The Beautifully Flawed Foundation is a non-profit organization that works alongside victims of traumatic limb loss to encourage them to find their faith through their broken experiences.
This foundation began with Bethany Hamilton, a professional surfer who suffered the loss of her arm to a shark attack at a young age. Her story is known and inspires many, but she is not alone because along her side are the beautiful women who have shown absolute faith and perseverance during their personal experiences.
During October, we had the privilege of creating a beautiful backyard picnic for the lovely individuals on this year’s Beautifully Flawed Retreat in Del Mar.
Goal: Create a luxurious picnic for 30 guests participating in the Beautifully Flawed Retreat
Location: Backyard overlooking Del Mar beach
Decor Theme: Pastel with neutral tones
With a team of five, we got to work creating this dreamy backyard picnic for this year’s Beautifully Flawed Retreat! Inspired by the group’s strength and elegance we used colors of pink pastel with details of roses amongst the table for the picnic set up. To cater for this large group, we used four umbrellas and three tables, and a lot of comfy pillows!
This view was specatacular….
But nothing beats the view of these smiling faces!
